Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Transcriber (“the service”) you agree to these terms.

The service

Transcriber transcribes meeting audio and generates notes and action items. Transcription and note quality are provided on a best-effort basis and may contain errors; do not rely on them as the sole record of important matters.

Your account & content

  • You are responsible for your account and for the content you upload or record.
  • You must have the right and any required consent to record and process the audio you submit.Recording laws vary by jurisdiction; obtaining participants’ consent where required is your responsibility.
  • You retain ownership of your content. You grant us only the limited rights needed to process and display it back to you (and to anyone you share a link with).
  • Don’t use the service for unlawful content or to violate others’ rights.

Plans, billing & limits

  • Free and paid plans have monthly transcription limits. Paid plans are billed via Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled.
  • You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • We may change plan pricing or limits with reasonable notice.

Acceptable use

No attempts to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service, and no automated scraping beyond the documented API. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or its providers.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
